Where possible we prefer you to bring us or send us your original wheels complete without tyres so that we can take measurements for offsets and look at the lacing pattern. We can then dismantle them and retain original spokes for patterns.

You can decide on the rim finish you require, chrome, alloy, stainless steel etc. We prefer to use stainless steel spokes with nickel plated brass nipples as replacements for original steel plated spokes as they are more durable and don’t go rusty.

After stripping the wheel you can refurbish the hubs yourself or we can carry out that job for you. We can advise on finishes, for instance polishing or painting. We can also replace wheel bearings if required.

When all the parts are ready we will re-assemble the wheel and true it back to the original offset dimensions required for your bike. We will fit rim tapes so that you are ready to put the tyres on.
